A Detroit man was injured Thursday when the front end of his SUV went into a 10-foot-wide sinkhole caused by a water main break on Detroit’s west side. The 52-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries, Detroit police Sgt. Eren Stephens said. The sinkhole is on Pickford Street between Heyden and Vaughan. Crews were on the scene repairing the water main break Thursday, Detroit Water and Sewerage spokeswoman Mary Sevakis said.
